About Tami

Tami is of Samoan descent, specifically from the South Pacific Islands of American Samoa.  She spent most of her life in the idyllic "island" lifestyle that most dream of escaping to.  She played tennis competitively since the age of 5 and travelled world wide for competitions, world class events and training camps. 

By the age of 16, Tami decided that she would move to California in search of more "exposure" for the recruiting scouts of colleges in the U.S.  She obtained several "full ride" scholarships from different schools and decided to go to Seton Hall University, in South Orange, NJ - extremely far from home. 

Tami attended Seton Hall for 4 years and played on the women's tennis team from 1990 to 1994 on a full ride tennis scholarship.  She obtained her bachelor's degree in public relations.

Upon graduation, she returned home to revisit the idyllic life she so missed and cherished. In 1999, Tami gave birth to a beautiful baby boy by the name of Connor, who has become her driving force in everything she does.   After working with the Department of Education and the Department of Social Services in American Samoa for many years, Tami was craving a lot more than a small 72 square mile island could provide her and Connor.  In 2001, Tami decided to move to Las Vegas to go after her dream of success. 

Originally, Tami's next step was to obtain a law degree from UNLV but, after careful re-evaluation, she decided against it due to the time law school would take away from her son, Connor.  She loves people and decided to make her impact on the lending side of real estate.  In 2004, Tami made the tough decision to send her son back to American Samoa while she struggled to make a name for herself in the mortgage industry. 

After a year and half of separation from her only child, Tami finally had the stability to bring Connor home to Vegas! 

Tami is now a prominent lending figure in the mortgage community and services her clients with the same tenacity that helped her through the tough times while her son was away.  Throughout her life, she has strived to be the best in whatever it is that she does, whether it is tennis, a mortgage consultant, or, most importantly, a mom.

Tami has been a mortgage consultant since 2004 and continuously strives to educate and assist those looking for the dream of homeownership.  Tami conducts homebuyers seminars and realtor workshops around the Vegas Valley.  She also is incessantly seeking out to educate herself on a daily basis.  Her thirst for knowledge and to be the best is all driven by her innate desire to help others and provide for her only son.
